Foundation Factory for Macintosh Update
This new update of Foundation Factory for Macintosh has a couple of things you need to know before you download and install.
1. The updater requires Mac OS-X 10.3.9 or higher to run. This includes 10.7 (Lion), 10.8 (Mountain Lion) and 10.9 (Mavericks). The updater and the Foundation Factory program are both universal programs and will run on PPC or Intel Mac’s.
2. While we have tried to make sure that all previous versions of Foundation Factory for Macintosh have been included in this update, we may have missed one. If you try to run this update and it doesn’t think you have a valid copy of Foundation Factory, please contact tech support for assistance. We will most likely ask you to compress the application file and send it to us for analysis.
3. Older installers of our Foundation Factory for Macintosh may have installed with file permissions that won’t let this updater run. If you get an error trying to run this updater, try the steps on this page. After fixing file permissions, run the update again. If those steps don’t work, please contact tech support for additional help.
4. This new version of Foundation Factory tracks unique serial numbers for each installed edition, where the previous versions only tracked one number (the last one installed). After installing this update, you will be asked for the serial number for each edition of Foundation Factory that requires one (a couple don’t). Be sure when you run this update that you have located all of your serial numbers. If you don’t enter all of them, you won’t be able to continue using the Foundation Factory. If you can’t find all your serial numbers, or if you purchased a combo product with only one serial number, please contact tech support for additional help.
