Creating Foundation Blocks – Part 1

Getting Started

With Quilt Pro, drawing a Foundation
block is the same as drawing any other block. However,
keep in mind that not all blocks are suitable for foundation piecing. What makes a block suitable for foundation
piecing? Each seam line should completely cover the previous seam line or fabric edge and
the patterns is numbered in the order it is to be pieced. Look at the illustrations below
for examples of a block that works for foundation piecing and one that does not work for
foundation piecing.
