Q. I have activated Print and Sew but it’s still telling me I need to activate.

A. The most common reason for this problem is that you have purchased 2 or more editions of Print and Sew but have only activated one.

The way to tell which edition is activated is to click on the help Menu at the top of the screen (not the Help button at the bottom) And
choose About Print and Sew.  There you will find a list of the activated programs.  If one is missing, select a pattern in that group and
click Print.  When you click print, you will be prompted to activate that edition.

Q. My computer crashed and I need to download my programs again.  Can I or are they lost forever?

A. You bet you can download them again.  The information we’ll need is:

The name, address, and email address used when you purchased the programs. If possible, please let us know which internet browser you use so we can tailor our download instructions just for you.  The options are  Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari.

Q.How do I create a backup of the programs I’ve purchased?

A. Open the browser you used to download the installer.

Press the "ctrl" and the "J" keys on
your keyboard to open the Browser’s download manager.

The file will be listed at the top or (near the top if
you downloaded something else after)

Right click on the file and choose "Open Containing
folder" or click the folder icon. It will open the folder where the file
is located and the file should be highlighted.

This is the file to save on Cd or a flash drive.

To create a backup of file on CD, simply add a blank CD to the
drive and wait for Windows to ask what you want to do. Choose to create a Data
disk using your CD burning software. When it opens, use the "add
files" option to add the installer file you downloaded. Then burn the
CD.  That is a general overview of the process; your CD burning software
may be a bit different. Check the software’s help files for more information.

To create a backup using a Flash Drive, insert the flash drive
into the USB port.  Then select the download file and right click and
choose "Send to" and select the flash drive as the destination.
