Challenge Rules
Open
to users of Quilt Pro version 3, 4 and 5.
Create a block based on the current challenge
topic.
a)
Please do not send any more than 3 quilt blocks per
challenge please.
b)
Coloring the Block:
a.
For blocks designed with Quilt-Pro 3, please do not paint the blocks with fabrics, use
solid colors only.
b.
Blocks designed with Quilt-Pro 4 may be painted
with fabrics but if so, you must submit the entry as a packet file as
the packet files include all the fabrics.
Find “Create Packets” under the file menu in version 4. Please keep the number
of any personally scanned fabrics low and be sure they are 24-bit true color
format. This is to keep the size of your packet file reasonable size.

Name your Block file or Packet file in this
manner: BC3LastnameFirst&MiddleInitial04
, ( BCN = Block Challenge number, your
last name and first and middle initials, 04 = 2-digits for the year
submitted) For
example:

For Packets - BC1JonesAK04.arq
b.
For plain blocks only - BC1JonesAK04.blk

Please DO NOT include any copyrighted material from any source. The design should be
your own creation. Do not submit any
block you do not wish to share with others.
e)
Please include your full name, the state
you live in, and your e-mail address, in:
a.
Version 4 & 5: include the information in the block notes (
File/Notes)
b.
Version 3:
include the information in your email message.
c.
Include any other information that you’d
like but be aware many users may see this information! If it is an original
design, please mention that.
f)
Send your file by attaching it to an e-mail
with the subject “Block Challenge Number __”
Email it to: _LindaB@quiltpro.com_ (without the underscore)
g)
Entries will be displayed in the forum and may be
included in Quilt-Pro’s next version. In
addition, all individuals entering the challenge will able to download the
blocks received in the same challenge using a link sent to the email address
included with the original file as part of Rule E.
Remember:
Please include your email address on the block notes for your quilt so you can
be sent the link where you can download the project files from. You may be
disappointed if you forget!
